Circles

15 September 2014

Last week I got my Studio Calico kit. I had a little bit of time this weekend and created any easy layout. I went with geometrical shapes: A triangle and circles.
The picture was taken on my solo trip to Paris. I ventured out into the city , a bit scared at first but then I utterly enjoyed it.

Come back tomorrow for a super fun blog hop and giveaway.

Happy Scrapping

Around the house with Glitz Design

Today I'm up with a home decor project on the Glitz Design blog. I had a whole box of corks lying around and thought I'd make a simple project for the piano area in my home.

I took an old frame and used two 12*12 sheets of paper from the Carpe Diem collection. I then cut out a heart shape with my Silhouette Cameo. I used a hot glue gun to adhere the corks to the circle. Once the heart was formed I glued it to the frame. As finishing touch I added a clothes pin and a sticker from the 77 collection. It is a really easy project to create and you can use any shape. You could also ask for corks in a restaurant.

SUPPLIES:

HELLO

10 September 2014

Just popping in to show some more publications projects. I have been busy these last two weeks and am slowly (really slowly) getting into the groove of this new school year. I have been scrapping but I can't show these projects just yet.

The first layout was made for a SPOT THE DIFFERENCE game in Esprit Scrapbooking. This was the final page with all elements on it.

I also created an art journal page and a card for the magazine using gelatos.

Supplies (still available)

Esprit Scrapbooking

7 September 2014

Happy Sunday everyone. Today I'm going to show a couple of layouts that were published over a year ago in Esprit Scrapbooking.

This layout was created to showcase SODALICIOUS products. I went with blacks and whites and added some aqua.

The next two layouts were created to illustrate symmetry. I really enjoyed writing the article about symmetry as it is a design element I use a lot in my layouts.

Hope you are all having a wonderful day and see you soon.

Neon

6 September 2014

Last year for the Esprit Scrapbooking magazine I was asked to work with neon colours. I had some neon tape and paint lying around and decided to play with those. I cut out the title with my cameo and used the negative cut as mask. I applied paint over it and left it to dry. I kept the design centred and added little word strips and some confetti. I stuck some neon tape onto cardstock and punched out the confetti with a Swiss cheese punch from EK success.

See you tomorrow with more layouts.
